Anders Norell
Principal Flute of
the National Symphony Orchestra Taiwan Philharmonic
Anders Norell was born in Sweden 1970 and has been Principal Flute of the National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan since 1996. He graduated at Gothenburg University with Gerard Schaub and Royal Academy of Music in London with William Bennett. Suzuki-master Toshio Takahashi has also had great influence on his playing as well as nurturing a passion for education. Besides his local teaching activities as Assistant Professor of Flute at Taipei Municipal University, National University of Arts and Taipei European School, he has held recitals and international Masterclasses for flute in Singapore and the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing.
